The DAbG awards a limited number of travel grants to students and doctoral candidates for attending scientific events. Membership of the DAbG is a prerequisite for receiving a travel grant to attend international conferences and workshops. Travel grants for attending DAbG events can also be awarded to students and doctoral candidates who are not members of the DAbG. Please submit your application to the DAbG treasurer at least four months before the start of the event you wish to attend. The application can be submitted informally. Please enclose a curriculum vitae and a letter of motivation. Among other things, the letter of motivation should state the importance you attach to participating in the event. As a rule, this should be an active participation. Therefore, please also include the abstract of your presentation or poster and the DAbG Executive Board will decide on your application.
